About
the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art (SVMA)
SVMA’s beautiful facility—just steps from the historic Sonoma
Plaza—exhibits the paintings, photography, sculpture,
ceramics, textiles, multimedia, and other diverse works of
local, national, and international artists. It is also a
gathering place where residents and visitors of all ages enjoy
workshops, concerts, tours, and other learning experiences.
Throughout 2008, SVMA will celebrate a milestone event, the
10th Year Anniversary of the Museum with activities and
exhibitions such as Picasso Ceramics and the Anderson
collection planned throughout the year. The museum is open to
the general public during exhibitions Wednesdays through
Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM. Admission is $5 for individuals,
$8 for families, free to the public on Sundays, and always
free to members.
